Andersen Per Kristian
I had my first Golden Retriever in 1965,since when I have bred over 20 champions.
Judging has taken me to 19 countries in both hemispheres. During this time I have judged two World Shows and judged at Crufts in 2000. I have been delighted to win Best of Breed twice at Crufts with home bred exhibits.
I have lectured on the breed throughout Europe and beyond and have written two books on the breed and am presently involved in making a film for the Kennel Club ,which will be required study for those wishing to judge the breed.
I was instrumental in the formation of the Yorkshire Golden Retriever Club, and for many years served on the executive committees of the Northern Golden Retriever Association and the Yorkshire Gundog Club.
Rescue has always been of great importance and I have been responsible for its implementation throughout Yorkshire,Lincolnshire and Humberside since the mid 1970’s, rehoming hundreds of unwanted Golden Retrievers.
Fifty three years after my initial introduction to this wonderful breed, my passion to produce healthy, confident examples, who fit the Breed Standard, remains undiminished.
Judging carries a huge responsibility ,as the dogs which are consistently placed highly are the most likely to be bred from, and have the ability to alter the profile of the breed. With this in mind, I take this responsibility very seriously.
We have owned Labradors since 1973 and have had our fair share of success. Our dogs have won over 150 CC & Res CC’s. Perhaps not as many as some kennels, but we have never been what you would call “big breeders” We strive to improve on each litter, always bearing in mind that no dog is perfect.
Our very first “show” Labrador was from the Poolstead Kennel of Bob & Didi Hepworth. She proved to be a fine brood bitch and we are indebted to Didi & Bob Hepworth for letting us have her. She was quickly followed by three Balrion King Frost daughters, two yellows and a black from the Sudeo Kennel. These four bitches are the foundation of Ramsayville but more importantly they were lovely bitches to own, each with their individual personality. They are long gone now but we have some wonderful memories of them.
We have also had success in the Pointer ring, making up two Champions in the breed and in Beagles we have had two champions.
Our interest in Labradors has brought us many irreplaceable friends and our breed is fortunate to have so many kind and genuine people. I think the Labrador temperament must rub off on most of the owners.
Our passion for dogs have given us the opportunity to judge all over the world and without them we would have only ever been able to dream about it.
It really is great privilege to be asked to judge your show. I do hope everyone enjoys their day, win or lose.
My mother was a breeder of whippets when I was a child. I followed her at every show and every racing. So, she gave me the virus very early. I had to wait till the end of my studies to have my own whippets. In 1988, DIXMOOR kennels born and I bought my own first whippet. Then several litters born at home and some of my dogs did really well in the showrings in France and abroad.
Over the years, I became an active member of the French Whippet Club. Actually, and since many years, I am the Vice President.
I decided to become a judge in 2003. Of course my first breed was the Whippet. And now I am qualified to judge at Championship level for the following breeds : all breeds of group 10, Scottish Terriers, West Highland White Terriers, Cairn Terriers, Dandie Dinmont Terriers, Skye Terriers and Fox Terriers (in group 3), Podencos Ibicencos, Podencos Canarios, Podengos Portuguese, Cirnecos dell'Etna, Pharaoh hounds, Siberian Huskies, American Akitas (in group 5), Poodles and Chinese Crested dogs (in group 9).
I have judged in France of course but also in Sweden, Finland, Norway, Italy, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Ireland, England, Bahrein, Hungary, Czech Republic, Denmark, Austria, USA and Australia.
I had the great Honor to judge the whippets at the World DogShow in Paris in 2011 and at the World DogShow in Milano in 2015.

Dömt i Danmark, Estland, Finland, Filipinerna, Irland, Israel, Singapore, Spanien, Sverige.

I am celebrating the 50th anniversary of sharing my life with schnauzers – it is half a century now, since I received my very first own dog, a p&s miniature schnauzer bitch, later Fi & S Ch Munkin Affra. I was just a little girl back then and was allowed in the ring only in dog&child competitions, my father would show all the family dogs. I, however, was allowed to show a German Pinscher, who would not show himself with anyone else and had, if I may say, an interesting character otherwise also.
Ever since I have been involved, more or less, in all the schnauzer-pinscher family. Afunique black and silvers are 52 litters by now, all homebred and hand raised, dearly loved by us and their families.
I myself stopped showing when I was qualified to judge in 2002 and have concentrated in that and learning more. I am judging in groups 1,2,4,5,6 and 10 as we speak and expanding my authorities slowly. I have promised to return in the rings with a perfect, classic schnauzer – hopefully I live long enough to see the day! Until then, I remain enjoying the beauty of diversity of the canine in the dog show rings.

Jeff has been going to dog shows from an early age. It all started when his mother (Ann Foxwell) having decided that a Great Dane was the ideal breed for a family pet, decided to go along to a local show.
A ‘show’ Dane followed and the Auldmoor Great Dane kennel has gone on to produce a steady stream of Champions, both in the UK and around the world.
Jeff decided to have Miniature Wire Dachshunds as his own breed. 23 Min Wire Champions have been made up by him, including 3 Crufts BOB winners and 4 group winners.
Jeff has always had an interest in many breeds, and has also made up a Greyhound Champion and 2 Field Spaniel Show Champions, along with winning RCCs with a Basenji and Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. He has won CCs as a handler in Irish Wolfhounds, Whippets and Italian Greyhounds.
Jeff first judged in 1982, and first awarded CCs in 1989, to Wire & Min Wire Dachshunds. He judged Min Wires at Crufts in 2000, his first Hound Group in 2000 and BIS in 2003. Jeff is approved to award CCs in breeds across all 7 UK groups, along with BIS and the 7 UK groups. He has judged the Hound Groups at Crufts, and judged Best in Show at Crufts in 2017.
Jeff has judged many parts of the world including Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Russia, Estonia, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Holland, Hungary, Croatia, Ireland, USA, Japan, South Africa, Trinidad & Barbados.
He is a member of the KC Board and its Judges Committee, and is very involved in implementing the KCs new judges training scheme.
I got my first own dog, cockerspaniel, as a birthday gift at 12 years age in early ’70’s, after longtime nagging from my parents. Soon I found an inspiration about dogs as a hobby and breeding . My first dog was just a pet quality, so I wanted a new one as my second dog and after couple of more years I got my real foundation bitch, an English springer spaniel, which is still behind all Adamant’s ESS and also in pedigrees of plenty of Swedish ESS today via her daughter, that is the foundation bitch of famous Swedish kennel ’Rowntree’.
I got my judging rights to ESS year 1999 and since that I have got all FCI 8 judging rights and about half of FCI7. Due to the fact I am still so active as a breeder and with all shows, I have not even tried to get any more judging rights, because there is not enough time. Adamant’s ESS have managed to win ’Top Breeder All Breeds Finland’ now 4 times: 2010, 2011, 2016, 2017 and now we are still #1 before couple of last shows 2018.
We live with my husband and our son in a beautiful countryside in southern Finland on our farm . We only have 3 dogs at home now and never have had more than 6, this breed just loves to be so close to you as possible so I have not heart to have any kennels for them; they are all our beloved family members. But I have managed to find great people around me and we do co working for the breed as a team, and that has given us all fantastic moments together around this lovely hobby.
I have had a pleasure to judge in Scandinavian countries, UK, France, Germany, Chech, Ireland , Estonia, Netherlands, Estonia and Australia and enjoyd allways so much . It will be a great pleasure and honour for me to judge again in Stockholm.
I am breeder of Dogo Argentino with the affix “ de Angel o Demonio” since 1992, even if my life with dogs started in the late seventies when I was very young. In these years my family made few litters of Neapolitan mastiff and I have grown in the legs of few of them. Later we owned other breeds as Grand Dane , Rottweiler and Yorkshire terrier.
I have bred several Champions of Italy and abroad. One male from my breeding has won the official Ranking of FCA in 2007, as most prized Dogo Argentino of the year in Argentina.
I am Molossers specialist judge and I am approved to judge: Group 2° (all breeds), Group 3° (bull-type terriers), Group 4° (all breeds), Group 5° (all breeds), Group 7° (Bracco Italiano), Group 8° (all breeds), Group 9° (Maltese and Bolognese) Group 10 (all breeds) and Best in Show.
I have judged all over Italy, as well as in Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Bielorussia, Bosnia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Denmark, England, Estonia, Finland, Holland, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Montenegro, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Serbia, Sweden, Spain, San Marino, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine and the United States. I judged at the World Dog Show in 2012 in Salzburg (Austria) and in 2015 at the WDS in Italy. I will judge at the WDS 2018 in Holland and WDS 2020 in Spain.
I organized and was one of the speakers at the first judges’ refresher course about Dogo Argentino organized by ENCI in 2005, furthermore I have given lectures regarding the Dogo Argentino in Argentina, Finland, Hungary, Portugal and Spain and regarding Cane Corso in Italy, Brasil, Bulgaria, Holland, Macedonia, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Turkey and the USA.
I am “ENCI mentor judge” for new judges in Italy for Cane Corso and Dogo Argentino and, effective January 2012, I am the judge for CAE-1 certification (test for obedience responsiveness and stable temperament of Good Citizen dogs and owners). I am the vice president of the Cynological Group Delegation ENCI of Caltanissetta, and I am the founder of the Dogo Argentino Club Italia (DACI), and past vice president of that organization.

sheepdog and Cavaliers. We set up the Kennel Prefix Leonfort and we quickly became known in Cavaliers as we won Best of Breed under Pamela Cross Stern with a ten month old puppy Ch Ronnoc Vicenzo at his first St Patricks Day Show (The Irish Crufts) in 1980. He won again the following year under Russell Roberts. Ch Ronnoc Vicenzo was the top stud dog in the breed for 6 years in a row. In Tibetan Spaniels I made up champions and bred litters and served as Chairman for over 10 years. I had the honour of judging the breed at the World Show in Sweden in 2008. One of the only 2 Irish Judges at this show.

I live in Leicestershire in the Midlands of England, I have a home with my daughter and her boyfriend who are both keen dog judges and owners. We live with English Springer Spaniels, Skye Terriers, Cavalier King Charles SpanieIs, King Charles Spaniels, Papillons and a Standard Longhaired Dachshund, and a work with a rescue Border Terriers. I have a one other child my son who is married and has my two granddaughters now, 4 and 5 years old.
I have been interested in dogs from a very early age and started with a cross Terrier/Shetland sheepdog who I competed with in obedience. As a 21st birthday present I was given a German Shepherd Bitch puppy who was Obedience bred, but at a show she went Best Puppy in Show and the bug was bitten to breed showing. I then purchased two more show bred German Shepherd bitches at this time I had already met my husband to be who was connected to the famous Pencloe English Springer Spaniel kennel and as a present we were given our first English Springer Spaniel in the early 1960s and campaigned her successfully in the show ring. We took out the affix FEORLIG with the Kennel Club from a visit during our honeymoon to the Isle of Skye where we stayed in a hamlet called Feorlig. Through personal circumstances our showing was stopped until we were given a beautiful English Springer Spaniel bitch (called Tilly) Pencloe Clearway of Feorlig and we restarted showing and breeding.
I started my judging career in August 1974 at Open show level judging my own breed the English Springer Spaniel. I judge all the breeds within our 7 groups at Open show level and all the 7 Open Show Groups, and Open Best in Shows. I also judge all the Gundog Breeds in the UK to Championship level, plus the Gundog Group and Best in Show at All Breeds General Championship show. I have judged Internationally around the World from Barbados to Africa to Australia and most all of Europe judging all their groups at Championship level and Best in Show, and judging FCI groups 7/ 8. I have passed most all the required exams in the UK so far.
I have bred and owned 16 ENGLISH SPRINGER SPANIELS Champions. With my daughter we have bred 6 PAPILLON Champions.
With my daughter we have bred 6 SKYE TERRIER Champions. I have owned 1 GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG Champion, several English Springer Spaniels, Skye Terriers, Papillons, Cocker Spaniels, Basset Hounds and a Welsh Springer Spaniel that have won CCs, RCCs, JW, ShCMs.
I thank you for the invitation and I am very much looking forward to my judging appointment and seeing many of your lovely dogs.
My name is Kimmo Mustonen and I became a dog show judge in 2010. Today I am authorised to judge groups 2, 3, 4 and 9. I have also started to extend my authorities to groups six and ten. I have a life-long experience of dogs.
My own breed is the Border Terrier. In my childhood home, we had Saint Bernards, hunting spitz and Finnish Hounds. Thereby, I have spent my whole life with dogs. I went to dog shows and hunting trials already as a little boy. I have been active as a ring steward and served in different dog clubs. Now I am a member of Finnish Kennel Club's Board and the chair of the Finnish Kennel Club's Show and Judges Committee. I have also been a Board member of the Finnish Dog Show Judges' Society and the chair for the Border Terrier club in Finland.
I am from Tohmajärvi, North Karelia, and spent the first 20 years of my life there. During that time, I spent a lot of time hunting with my father. I still have my hunting licence as a remembrance of that time. I used to serve as a field judge and a steward at hunting trials for hounds.
Every now and then, we train our Border Terriers and take them to earthdog trials. Dog shows have however always been the form of activity closest to my heart. Already as a little boy, I sat by the ring and dreamt of being a judge. Now that dream has come true.
I breed dogs together with my sisters Kati, Outi and Anna under the kennel name Ommik's. We are going to continue breeding in a small scale also in the future, hopefully still maintaining a good quality. We have imported several Border Terriers from England to be used in breeding.
I am happy to have had the chance of becoming a judge – it is not something that is self-evident. I consider being a judge as a responsible job – one must be faithful to the origins and the standards of the breeds. I want to learn the breeds I judge thoroughly. I have got acquainted with terriers in England, the home country of several terrier breeds. I still visit dog shows there, and last year I got to judge my own breed there for the first time. I have been well received as a judge. I have learned a lot of many breeds from many experienced judges. In addition to Finland, I have judged in 16 countries so far, of which the country furthest away was Australia. I take up new challenges as a judge with big enthusiasm. I spend my nights and weekends studying new breeds, being at dog shows, or serving in positions of trust. Dogs are not just a hobby. They are a way of life.

In 1977 I started in dogs by helping my aunt and uncle (eventually kennel Beacytan Airedales) show their Dobermans in Great Britain. I also trimmed their Airedales learning from photos and the method of “trial and error”.
In 1979 I started to work at Jokyl terrier kennels in Surrey, England. Airedale was the breed but we also had a couple of Wire Fox Terriers. I stayed for three years.
Since then I have shown my own dogs, and also handled for other people when that was possible.
I was licensed by FCI to judge 5 terrier breeds in 1997. I have gradually added breeds and now judge the complete FCI group 3 (terriers), 4 (Dachshunds), and breeds from groups 1, 2 and 9.
I have judged in Great Britain, the Nordic countries, Russia, Germany, Italy, Estonia, Ireland, Serbia, Luxembourg, Croatia, Slovenia, Spain, Latvia, the Netherlands, Poland and Australia.

Bill Shelton, has been an enthusiast of all things associated with canines since a young boy. This infatuation led him early on to the sport of purebred dogs. And the ideals of creating a happier, healthier dog , bred for a specific type and purpose.
His interest has never been a casual one. As he writes for a variety of dog publications today including Dog News. He has lectured in many places in the world on a number of topics relating to the preservation of purebred dogs, and the breeders who purposefully breed them. Teaching a course on anatomy, and examination skills at AKC judges institutes. Also presenting various lectures on the art and science of creating a family of dogs; for AKC, and other kennel clubs and a number of national parent clubs. Bill was the DPCA Judging education chair, and breeders education chair for several years.
As a young boy he exhibited in conformation, and obedience dog events. The training of dogs led him to a relationship and associate with Bill Koehler, author, and trainer of the Hollywood Walt Disney motion picture animals, particularly dogs.
Over the years his interest grew more towards the creation of dogs, and the exhibition and evaluation of breeding stock. He was first liscenced as a professional AKC dog handler in 1978. Where he would enjoy a lively, and successful career for several decades.
This vocation led Bill to the progression of becoming an evaluator of breeding stock. He has had the privilege to judge around the world since 1994 when he was first approved to judge at all breeds event, and numerous national specialty shows as well. He’s judged the World dog show, AKC Invitatiinal, Westminster K.C. My breed, the Schnauzer has accompanied me since 1968, and I am still accompanied with my salt-and-pepper average dog of 16 years. A marriage which lasts.
My first show dog was in 1970, it was a male black average schnauzer, and my first litter was born in 1974.
Appointed member of the committee of the French pure breed club in 1973, I have assured to this day the presidency since 1996.
I practised the ring and the RCI.
Appointed a judge in 1980, I was very quickly invited abroad and this in many countries of Europe, Asia and also in Australia. Obviously to judge only Schnauzer and Pinscher has eventually led me to learn about other breeds and I was very quickly qualified for the Sheep dogs of Flanders and Rottweilers.
I adore judging sheep dogs, this very asserted character has always attracted me, and then, they look somehow like our schnauzers just a little more rustic.
I also like judging very much all the big dogs, so I judge in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 6th and 9th groups, but regarding extension I judge only the races which I really like.
In my judgments all around the world, I made very beautiful meetings which also made me appreciate various types of breeds, it is very enriching to make these exchanges. Thus in Australia I saw sheep dogs at work, these fabulous dogs in its function of origin.

I became interested in dogs already in childhood as we had Finnish Spitzes. They needed a show result so I handled our dogs and became also interested in shows. We have had also Samoyeds and Siberian Huskies.
When I studied there was a need for a smaller dog and by accident the choice was a Dachshund. I started breeding Long-haired Miniature Dachshunds with prefix Rodels and I have got the Vuolasvirta-prize, the highest award of the Finnish Kennel Club for the results of successful breeding. In my breeding there are for exemple a couple of European and World Winners.
I have been living and studying in Germany and my knowledge of German language has been of huge help with the German national breed. Even though my passion is Dachshunds, I am still very keen on Spitz breeds. So far I have judged in several European countries, also in World Dog Shows in Milan and Leipzig and in many Dachshund specialities in several countries. At the moment I am in the board of The Finnish Dachshundclub and chairman of the Dachshund Judge Committee. I find it extremely interesting to get to know new breeds. I am qualified to judge the group 4 and most of the breeds in groups 5, 6 and 7 and several breeds in groups 8 and 10.

Fifty-two years ago I bought my first Great Dane a yellow female with which I bred my first litter. I have been raised with dogs (boxers and bulldogs) because my parents had already dogs. They had a very well know kennel.
I myself have bred in 54 years a lot of Great Danes under the name of “Von Haus vom Steraldted” mostly yellow and brindle, and at this moment only black and harlequin.
My dogs became Dutch, Belgium, France, German, International, European Champion and I have bred a World Champion.
I have been President of the Dutch Molosserclub (25 years), of the NDDC, the Dalmation club, American Cocker club, Nederlandse Welsh Corgi Club and the Welsh Cardigan Club Nederland.
In 1982 I was getting my judging licenses for the Leonberger and my second breed was the Great Dane. I am at this moment FCI group II judge and judge for some breeds in group IX (Pug, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, King Charles Spaniel, Boston Terrier), in group I the Welsh Corgi Cardigan and in group V the American Akita.
Throughout the years I have judged many specialties of several breeds all over Europe, America, Canada and Indonesia. I also have judged World dog shows, European Dog Shows, Bundessiegers, Europasiegers and also Best in Group II.

From the day I was born I came in contact with dogs and French bulldogs in particular. One can say I was “infected” by the “Frenchie virus”. During my childhood years I have followed my parents during long travels to the numerous dogs shows throughout the world. I was fortunate to spend “quality time” with some of the greatest pioneers, breeders owners of many breeds. I spent many years of my childhood in Germany and UK among people who had different other breeds besides their French bulldogs.
Since “junior handling” did not really exist I “showed” dogs during the so called “Junior fancy dress show” where you had to “dress up” in a personality which had some kind of connection with the breed or its origin. Later on I chose to stay at home and care for the dogs while my parents were away traveling, showing or judging. I loved to work with my four legged friends: taking care of them and simply be there for them and to play and train. They were always great company and good fun to be around with.
A bit later I also started to show interest in showing dogs and I guess the rest is “history”. Fairly young I travelled all over the globe and I enjoyed every minute of it. I especially enjoy the bond you build with the dog(s). I love the challenge to try and get a super connection with a dog in order to get that “click”. This makes it able to achieve great results together.
I showed many French bulldogs of which some are very well known in the French bulldog scene worldwide.
We have bred, raised, trained, (co)owned, handled multiple Group Winners, Multiple BIS Winners, 24 FCI World Winner Titles, Cruft Winners and exported our dogs to 60 countries worldwide.
Finally I wanted to follow my parents footsteps and I decided I also wanted to become a judge of my own breed and all other breeds which have my unconditional interest. For me it is of paramount importance that dogs will stay our sound, healthy and happy companions. Now and in the future!
Of course I also enjoy the Dog Show Club life and currently I am in several functions:
- President of the Belgium French Bulldog Club
- President of the Outdoor Uden International Dog Show
- Committee member of the Belgian National Breed Committee
I am extremely proud of what I have received so far and look forward that I can keep developing myself as breeder, owner, and judge in order to serve our beloved breeds even better in the near future.
I award CC in the UK to 23 Gundog breeds and Rhodesian Ridgebacks and I judge the Gundog Group.
I was brought up with racing greyhounds and whippets and on leaving home my first dog was a Labrador followed by a Cocker Spaniel which introduced me the show scene. In 1988 I bought my first Welsh Springer Spaniel who became my first champion and the foundation bitch of the Kazval Welsh Springers closely followed a blue Cocker Spaniel and Flatcoated Retriever who both became champions and in the early 90’s I got my first Hungarian Vizsla.
I have been top breeder in Welsh Springers and Hungarian Vizslas and had top dogs in these breeds as well as Flatcoats. I still currently show Flatcoats and Vizslas but enjoy being around many breeds. I have judged in many countries throughout Europe as well as Dubai, Australia and South Africa.
I have bred, owned or handled 30 UK champions covering 6 breeds from 3 groups. I am an active committee member of a Gundog Club and The Scottish Kennel Club Executive Council who run various events as well as two General all breeds championship Show.
