Health and Welfare Commission
The Health and Welfare Commission is a mandatory Commission and addresses health and welfare matters of common Nordic interest.
It coordinates joint initiatives – including the Breed-Specific Instructions (BSI) and works to harmonise approaches to welfare assessment and develops common strategies to promote responsible breeding and dog welfare across the region. It may propose recommendations and updates to shared tools (e.g., BSI) for Executive Committee consideration and/or direct to Members.
