Committees

The work of the Nordic Kennel Union is in large part carried out by various committees, appointed by the Executive Committee. Their task is to advise the Executive Committee on issues related to their area of expertise.

Each committee is made up of representatives from the Nordic Countries with a sound knowledge of the relevant subject. They regularly meet to discuss important issues in their field and report their findings to the Executive Committee. Sub-committees can also be appointed to discuss specific issues.

An important task of the committees is to suggest what position the NKU should adopt on various matters.
