Junior Handling

The Nordic Junior Handling Championships were first held in 2006. Since then, the competition is held every year in connection with the Nordic Winner Show.

Rules and regulations

The rules for the Nordic Championship in Junior Handling were decided by the NKU in 2007 and were most recently revised in 2021.

Responsible committée

The Junior Handling Committee is the responsible part in the organisation for all NKU matters regarding junior handling. Read more about the Youth Committee.

Important NKU decisions regarding Junior Handling

2-2005, item 8 The NKU Executive Committee decided that the number of representatives per country should be 4 (four).
1-2007, item 4 Iceland informs that they are interested in participating in the Junior Handling competition.
1-2002, item 5 An ad hoc group was formed by the NKU Executive Committee to make suggestions to encourage more international exchange in Junior Handling.
2-2003, item 9 The NKU Executive Committee forms the NKU Junior Handling Committee.
