Health certificates for travelling outside EU

For pet travel outside the European Union, specific veterinary documentation is required. These documents, including health certificates and quarantine records, must be certified by an official veterinarian (OV) before traveling to EU. And we are planning to offer the option for an official veterinarian to provide return travel certification services for a fee at the show.

A health certificate and quarantine documentation for travel outside the EU must be certified by an official veterinarian (OV). An official veterinarian works on behalf of the government with a specific appointment by the Swedish Board of Agriculture (Jordbruksverket) to issue official animal health certificates for international travel, a power not all veterinarians possess.

Certification for the return travel

We plan to offer the option for an official veterinarian to visit EDS and issue return travel certificates for a fee.
