FAQ

During Saturday and on Sunday a veterinarian will be on duty for tapeworm (echinococcus) treatment at the showground.

The cost is 150 SEK/dog,

There is no ATM in the area.

Many sellers take debit cards

Prizes & rosettes take debit cards. We avoid cash as much as possible. There is a limited exchange office.

The parking fee can only be paid in cash

 

 

All exhibition numbers will be sent via email. 
It often ends up in spam.

You should receive your exhibition number about 1 week before the show.

The exhibition number are sent over several days, so if you have received one for 1 dog, you can wait a few days and see if the other one arrives before contacting our show administrator.

If you have forgotten your exhibition number at home or if you have not had the opportunity to print it yourself or have been able to get help printing the exhibition number, you will receive a new one at the show.

The exhibition number must be worn clearly in the show ring.

Parking attendants will direct you to the parking lot. Please respect their instructions.

The parking fee can only be paid in cash and Swish.

Parking is available for those with a valid disability permit (passenger cars only).

Bring your number tag and come to the prices and rosettes.
There you can buy nice collectible rosettes and/or collect awards.

Assigned to your dog BIR, BIM, CERT, CACIB, NORDIC SHOW CERTIFIKAT, Progeny class and breeder groups with HP, You will win a mortgage card (value 100 SEK) that can be exchanged for any prize of the same value (1pc /dog).

At the Södra Norrbottens Kennel Club's shows, the dog WINS the following rosettes: BIR- & BIM (puppy, adult, veteran) & CHAMPION and they are distributed in the ring.

The dog also wins the HP rosette, but it is collected in Prizes & Rosettes.

More exclusive CERT and CHAMPIONSHIP rosettes are available for sale.

You can pay by debit card or Swish. We avoid cash as much as possible.

NOTE! No prizes will be sent out afterwards.

Can be found via SKK Dog Show when the exhibition is published.

The show's veterinarian and The show committee will conduct random checks of dogs' ID numbers at the entrance, in the area, and in the show ring.

During the check, vaccination certificates must also be presented.

Dogs whose ID does not match the certificate will be rejected from the area and any show results will be deleted.

If the show announcement names a reserve judge who will replace the announced judge at the show, the entry fee will not be refunded.

If the new judge is not an announced reserve judge, you can request a refund of your entry fee minus an administrative fee of 40 SEK.

How to proceed is stated in the confirmation/number tag you have received.

The final ring is located in the middle of the field.

The final competitions will begin when all rings are complete.

The ring distribution that is sent out with a number tag contains a list of all rings and the starting order of breeds in each ring.

A judge judges about 15–25 dogs/hour, so using that and the ring's starting time, you can calculate approximately when your breed will start being judged.

Be there well in advance of the start of judging.

The exhibition catalogue is digital and can be found at SKK Dog Show.

It is published 2 hours before the exhibition starts for each day.

The exhibition veterinarian and The show committee will conduct a random check of the dogs' vaccination certificates at the entrance and in the area.

Dogs without a valid vaccination certificate will be rejected from the area and any exhibition results will be deleted.

Participating dogs and other dogs that are allowed to stay in the area
must be vaccinated against parvovirus
infection according to SKK's exhibition rules.

  • Dogs under one (1) year of age: at least ten (10) weeks of age.
  • Dogs over one (1) year of age: Dogs must be vaccinated at least ten (10) months of age and not more than four (4) years ago.
  • The first vaccination must be done at least fourteen (14) days before the test, competition,
    descriptions and/or the exhibition day.
  • Checks may be made to ensure that applicable entry and vaccination regulations have been followed.

There will be an opportunity to purchase light refreshments in the area.

There will be an opportunity to purchase coffee, soft drinks and FIKA.

Payment is only possible with cash and Swish.

Dogs must not be stored in a way that could cause them harm. This applies to storage in a car, cage, tent, etc.

Never leave your dog in a hot car – it quickly becomes a death trap!

Exhibitors' tents may not be placed closer than 2 meters from the ring.
This also applies to the sunroof on the tent!

Please respect our tent-free zones – they are there partly for safety reasons, but also to increase accessibility for exhibitors and officials.

Remember to place the tents so that as many people as possible can be accommodated.

SATURDAY - the earliest you can set up is Friday 18.00

SUNDAY - after the finals have taken place on Saturday.

NOTE: No cars are allowed in the area!

The veterinarian performs spot checks on dogs. This can be done both at the respective entrance and inside the area.

The veterinarian has the right to reject a dog that shows symptoms of, for example, illness or vermin. In the event of an injury, contact the secretariat.

Puppies under 4 months are not allowed in the exhibition area.

Puppies over 4 months are welcome with a vaccination certificate.

Photography for publication on SNKK's website, Facebook and Instagram takes place in the area.

Dogs that are not participating may be brought along provided that they are over 4 months old and that a valid vaccination certificate is presented at the entrance.

There you can ask questions about the exhibition, get a new number tag, get in touch with the board and veterinarian.
Get help translating your critique tag, search for lost items, etc.

The secretariat is open the same hours as the veterinary inspection.

In the event of illness/accident/injury, please contact the secretariat.

The exhibition takes place outdoors regardless of the weather. The surface is grass.

Dogs wearing muzzles are not allowed into the exhibition area.

The use of flexible leashes in the area is prohibited - according to SNKK's local regulations.

Smoking is allowed in designated areas
