How to sign up for shows i Sweden?
Planning to sign up for the shows? Make sure your dog is in the SKK database before you submit your entry. Here you’ll find everything you need to get started.

Below you’ll find a clear overview of what you and your dog need in order to compete or show in Sweden.
What is required to sign up at dog shows?
- Dog registered in another country
If your dog is registered in another country, it must be added to the Swedish kennel club’s database before you can enter a show. See how below. - Dog born in Sweden
If your dog is born in Sweden and therefore already has a registration number in the Swedish kennel club (SKK), you should use the Swedish registration number when entering. - Previous participation
If you have previously competed in Sweden with your dog, you do not need to submit the dog’s information again.
Check if your dog is listed: SKK Database Hunddata
Didn't you find your dog's details?
If your dog is owned abroad and not yet in the SKK database, the owner must add the dog's information before entering to a show. To ensure a smooth experience, please take note of the following:
- Add your dog to SKK database
Use our online service Add your dog to SKK Database, see link below. - Important that it is correct information
Please make sure that you have entered correct information of your dog so that we enter the correct information in our database for registration. - Submit your application at least a few days in advance
Your registration will be processed during office hours. Confirmation of dogs from other countries is handled on weekdays during regular office hours. Please keep this in mind if you have an upcoming entry deadline. - The dog has to be confirmed by SKK
SKK needs to confirm the dog before you can enter to shows in Sweden. This means your dog’s details must be present in SKK Hunddata (see link above) before you can enter. - Champion titles are added at entry – not in the database
If your dog holds a champion title, this should not be registered when adding the dog to the SKK database. Titles are instead added when entering the show or competition. - Any questions?
