Are you ready for Stockholm?
In just a few weeks, we will welcome dogs and exhibitors from around the world to the European Dog Show and Swedish Winner Show. Now is the time to review your travel plans, vaccinations, certificates, and any deworming requirements to ensure your journey is as smooth as possible.

A dog adventure awaits
Stockholm is waiting for you! This September, thousands of dogs, dog owners, and dog enthusiasts from all over the world will gather for several unforgettable days filled with dog shows, companionship, and exciting experiences.
For many participants, the trip also means an extended stay in Sweden. That is why it is important to start planning now, both for your journey and for any documents that may be required for your return trip home.

Check what applies to your journey
Regulations vary between countries. Some dogs require official veterinary certificates or TRACES certificates in order to travel back home.
If you need a certificate issued by an official veterinarian, we recommend that you start planning now, as some certificates can take several weeks to obtain.
Does your dog need deworming?
Dogs travelling to or through countries such as Finland, Norway, Ireland, Malta, or the United Kingdom often need to be treated against the fox tapeworm (Echinococcus multilocularis).
We offer deworming services at Stockholmsmässan during the show weekend, but pre-registration is required.
Please remember to:
- register in advance
- bring the correct deworming medication
- check the regulations that apply in your home country

Don't forget the vaccinations
All participating dogs must comply with the Swedish Kennel Club's vaccination regulations and undergo a veterinary inspection upon entry.
Please ensure well in advance that:
- your dog's vaccination against canine distemper is valid
- the rabies vaccination meets the applicable requirements (for example, requirements from certain countries and EU pet passport regulations)
- all other required documents are in order
